  4. As a child the best Halloween memory I had was watching my dad paint his face. I don't know why but his face painting always amused me. I couldn't believe how an adult would get so excited and actually dress up. Once during Halloween my dad got an emergency plumber call and went as a clown to fix a toilet.

  5. My cousins and I are all around the same age so we would all go trick or treating together. Every year before halloween we choose numbers and whoever had the number 6 got to choose 5 pieces of everyones candy.

  6. My cousin and my siblings would always go trick or treating together. We would first go to Grandma "T's" and she would give us homemade cookies and lots of candy. Then we would hit main street in town then go to some aunt and uncles. Then go to my Grandma "B's" house where she would give us a full bag of candy each along with some type of little toy. Lastly we would go to a friend of my aunt's and we stocked up there.

  10. Just last weekend I was invited to accompany Lizzie's church group (and friends) to travel to and walk through three separate haunted houses. We went to St Olaf, Monona and Decorah. It was really cool to compare each one to the others. I love haunted houses and I even got to eskimo kiss a chain saw killer.

  15. When I was younger I used to go to all of my grandparents house to get candy and money from them. Next Spencer and I hit all of the houses on main street in McGregor and the bench in Marquette. When we got half way done with the whole trick or treating we would have our pales full of candy. Then once we finish I was tired and happy that I got all of this candy.

  18. Halloween has always been one of my absolute favorite holidays. I loved dressing up and going trick or treating. I was a witch a lot and one year this lady made me an awesome witches cape. It was fun and I got to stay up later. A nice lady that was a family friend always took a picture of Ashley and I in our costumes when we stopped at her house. I love going to haunted houses every year with my friends.

  19. As a kid my dad, my sister, and I took pumpkin carving pretty seriously. It was always fun just telling my dad what to carve and watching him create cool designs.

  21. my best halloween memory was when I was ten. I went to my uncle's. Every year he has a haunted house. It was so much fun. My cousin was even there. I hated my cousin at that time. She got really scared, so I made fun of her so much. It was great. And I got so much candy that I had to hide it from other people.
