A farmer has had over $18,000 worth of beans stolen from his field, Matthew Schuster has been farming around Dubuque and parts of Jo Davies county Illinois. He said over the weekend he went out to check his beans and someone harvested 18 acres. "They flat-out came into the wrong field and flat-out stole these beans," said Schuster. On Fri. Oct. 17 three residents of a West Union Residential Facility escaped from the Residential Facility located in West Union. Their names were Shaun McBride, Taylor Oaks, and Tyler Roe. McBride and Oaks are currently sex offenders and were being initially tracked by GPS at the time they disappeared. The GPS trackers were later found near the residential facility and had been cut off with scissors. A vehicle was also stolen in the location of the Residential Facility approximately the same time the suspects escaped.
Authorities say a woman lied to a Des Moines pharmacy worker about a man threatening to hurt the woman's children if she didn't get him some drugs. Andrea Small now faces theft and other charges. Jail records say Small remained in custody on Tuesday. Her attorney didn't immediately return a call from The Associated Press. Police say the worker gave Small bottles containing several hundred pills. A car that picked up Small outside the drugstore was tracked to a Des Moines residence, where Small and three other people were arrested.
