  6. Pro Sports leagues are working to shorten their game times. Studies show that many people feel there is not enough time in the day to do everything they want to do. MLB is experimenting with time saving rules and techniques. The average 3 hr and 8 minute game is 17 minutes longer than in the past. There have been six new rules added, including pitching and hitting regulations. The biggest of these rules is a twenty second pitching time frame or a penalty is given. The NBA has dropped a minute of each quarter and dropped a TV timeout. A majority of the audience is male. Males are doing a lot more household chores then they were in the past so the game is shortened to accomodate them. In the PGA a new rule has reduced the time allowed for the first tee off at each hole by ten seconds.

On wednesday she listened to 4 hours of arguing over the case. Players first sued the league in 2011 more than 5000 people joined in on this but the league covered up and denied the dangers of concussions. In the 2013 season $765 million settlement that would include all former players that have suffered from concussions.
