The police comissioner has said it was an accident but it was ruled a homicide.
There were more than a dozen people who survived Pearl Harbor. They runite in Hawaii today (Dec. 7th) for the 73rd anniversary. These people are sharing stories. Donald Stratton, 92, from Colorado was a survior in the forward part of the ship, at least 65% of his body was burned and he was hospitalized for more than a year- discharged from the Navy. The officer talked to them about what they or their kids wanted for Christmas and all this time they had their microphone on. Once they told the officer what they wanted other officers were in a store ready to get what they wanted, they got it as fast as they could and brought it to the officer at the traffic stop. In the end they handed out about 30 presents and spent $7000!

Eric Garner who was 43 years old was selling cigarettes illegal by buying them in a different state and selling them in New York. The police officer who was choking Garner was not charged. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the accused Boston Marathon Bomber, goes on trial on Monday. The April 2013 bombing killed three people and injured over 250. The death penalty will most likely be applied if Tsarnaev is convicted. The 21 year old is charged with 30 counts.
