  3. Republicans have fewer veteran women in the Senate, so when they take over there will be fewer women running important committees. But, on the plus side, the overall number of women in Congress will rise, albeit at a rate that would get us to equal representation sometime around 2078. Once all the votes are counted, Debbie Walsh, the director of the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University, says the percentage of women in the House and Senate, now 18.2%, will, at best, go up to “maybe 19.3” %.

  8. Valerie Watts was pregnant and in the final stages she noticed that the baby wasn't as active as normal. The babies umbilical cord had gotten pinched in the womb and she had given birth to a stillborn. She was holding onto the babies things not wanting to let go but finally held a garage sale. A man who has his own shop and converts headboards and footboards into benches saw the babies crib and wanted to buy it. Valerie wasn't going to sell it but had come to a deal with this man. Once the crib was loaded up Valerie had told the man what had happened to her child. A couple months later the man showed back up at Valerie's house with a bench made out of the crib. This was a total random act of kindness.
