  2. University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) beat Iowa State Cyclones 59-60. Many people where mad about this but Junior Robert Brown really gave the fans something to cheer about. He is a junior ant UAB. Iowa State is ranked 3 seed and UAB is ranked 14 seed. So UAB played smart and concentrated closely. Iowa probably assumed that they had the game and just got ahead of them selfs.

  7. Major League Baseball is looking at an expanded roster. With a 162 game schedule, injuries among players are all too common. The game especially takes a toll on pitchers, and this would allow teams to manage the health and well-being of their players more efficiently.

Brewer's general manager Doug Melvin said, "You play 80 percent of your season with even rosters," Melvin said, "and then all of a sudden, you throw that out. It's like playing three-on-six in basketball or 11-on-18 in football. I don't know of any sport in the world that does it like ours, with this kind of imbalance of rosters. I'd like to find out if there's any other sport that does that at the most important time of the year."
