  2. There was a train attack in France on August 22nd. One of the heroes that helped take down the gunman was Mark Moogalian, a French-American. Mark Moogalian was the first one to run at him and try to take his gun from his grip. They fought, and eventually Moogalian got shot in the neck. He said to his wife, "It's over," in French, but he said that to avoid getting shot again. He is currently in the hospital recovering and may be released soon from the ER. Once he is out of the hospital he will receive France's highest recognition, the Legion of Honor.

  3. There was 50 dead immigrants founded on a ship. Men, women and children were heading to Europe illegally. They died from starvation. Because of these findings they decided to send around 2,000 police men and women to help watch the borders so immigrants can't can't cross.

  4. After the Wall in eroupe fell their was question if they would need a new one. At first they thought no, but after all the immagration is happing they are thinking they need a new one. The british goverment recently just spent 10 million dollars on a wall going around the channel tunnel between France and Britain. That where most of the immagration happens and its planned to be done soon.

  5. Three children were recently rescued in Austria after being crammed inside a minivan with 26 migrants. The children were very dehydrated and wouldn't have lasted very long. The children were about 5 or 6 years old. The migrants were trying to get to Germany but the police got them when they stopped in Braunau district on Friday. The children are doing good but they are still in the hospital.

  6. On Friday and Saturday Gipsies in France Blocked one of the main roadways A1. They were burning tired and blocking the road. They were trying to get a man in person released for his fathers funeral, who was killed in a shoot-out. Four people where killed in the conflict, as there was a shootout at the guises base. One was a nine mouth old baby, and another was a police officer. After a long two days of conflict, police agreed to let the man attend the funeral, but only under police escort.

  8. Migration Grim toll is Raising in Europe. As many people are migrating to different countries, many people unfortunately didn't survive the trip. By August 26th, over 2,500 migrants and refugees were found dead trying to get into Europe.   9. 100,000 ballons beating in the heart of London. After five days of blowing up these balloons and four days of hanging them 20 volunteers spend many days working on this huge project to help people "Dream more", and "Notice how anything is possible." These balloons will be up until September 27th in London's Covent Garden Market.

  10. Three children from Syria and there families were saved from a minivan along with 26 migrants disappeared from the hospital they were being taken care in. The children were being treated from dehydration. Authorities said they think they may have tried to cross the border into Germany so they wouldn't have to be deported back to Hungary after there treatment is over. Thousands of migrants have been trying to cross the European border within this past month and they're willing to try anything to accomplish it.

  11. Energy company, Eni, (located in Italy) has reportedly discovered one of the world's biggest natural gas fields just off the coast of Egypt. Eni stated the field is located 4,757 feet underground, and covers an area of 39 sq miles. The field could possibly contain 5.5 billion barrels worth of oil.   12. One hundred Police officers were wounded in Kiev. It was in a riot. Ten were seriously injured. They were attacked by firecrackers and petrol bombs. Then there was a giant explosion in the crowd of police and thats why so many were injured.

  13. Every August in Bunol Spain get 170 tons of fresh tomato and hosts the worlds largest food fight. There are certain rules. One is that no hole tomato can be thrown and you must were goggles. This food fight started in 1940.

  14. Angela Merkel(Chancellor of Germany) Calls for Europe to address the migrant problem. Ever since ISIS has been dominating some parts of the Middle East. Many refugees have been traveling to Europe to escape ISIS causing a migrant problem in most of Europe that is not being addressed well.

  16. The European Union's natural gas imports went up 24% in the first three months of 2015, after having gone up 10 percent in 2014. This is the most it has gone up, considering the past three years it has gone down. These percentages are better mostly because of the gas prices being lowered and the lowering demand for it in Asia.

  18. Under the suspicion of recruiting 14 people for ISIS, in Syria and Iraq.
    Suspects were arrested in a town near Madrid, also in several areas of Morocco.
    They are charged of being a part of a network that sent foreigners to fight and join the ranks of ISIS ,the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday 8/25.

  20. Pianist, Natalia Strelchenko, was found dead in Manchester, England. Police found her with fatal head injuries. She was a 38 year old Norweigan mother. She was found on Sunday at her house. Examination showed she had suffered from head and neck injuries. A man was arrested for suspicion of murder.

  21. A jet plane crash occurred in Europe on Saturday while performing at an airshow at Shoreham Airport. The jet collided into the A27 highway killing about 11 people on the highway and injuring about 14 people. Police say they might find more people in the area that the jet had crashed.

  22. Volkswagen and Suzuki have been in a argument for 4 years over their failed partnership. Now they have split up because Suzuki accused Volkswagen of withholding information it had promised to share. Now Volkswagen is selling their 19.9% stake for about 4,151.5 yen or $34.1 million dollars.

  23. The death of Knut, a Polar Bear from the Zoo in Berlin, Germany has finally been discovered. Before Knut became famous, many animal rights groups were upset with Berlin Zoo because of the way he was raised. After 4 years of being enclosed, the bear suffered from a brain swell, caused by an autoimmune disease known as anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis, a rare case in animals. Researchers have searched for 4 years to find out the death, many citizens are relieved to know the case has finally closed.

  25. Police cars in, West Midland,without sirens are being used in emergencies. The police who use them are getting frustrated because they say they are stalling them and preventing arrests. They are forced to use these cars and follow the rules of the road. This rule was enforced by Federation's Health and Safety Department.

  26. Treasure hunters in Poland have found a legendary Nazi train filled with gold. News of the two treasure hunters' supposed discovery in a sealed tunnel in Poland's mountainous southwestern Walbrzych district made headlines last week. The train reportedly went missing in 1945, at the end of World War ll. As local lore has it, the train left Wroclaw, then part of Germany and known as Breslau, for Walbrzych, but never reached its destination. Under Polish law, a 10% "finder reward" would apply to the two men if the train is found, he said, but reports that they would be given a cash reward are wrong.

  30. A cease fire has happened between turkey and the (ppk) Kurdistan workers party. Which is a group that is responsible for killing at least 40,000 people in Turkey. Almost regularly a bomb goes off or a mine kills someone. Though know the group has not been active for a week or two after two members of the group were arrested. The government hopes there done with the attacks. The minister of Turkey fears though that they will have to take military operation against them until there out of Turkey soil .

  31. Management at the Auschwitz Memorial installed sprinklers outside of the former Nazi camp in Poland, in efforts to create some cool comfort for visitors. But instead, it sparked up controversy. Many Jews, who had lost relatives in the camp argued that the sprinklers were offensive because they looked like the showers the Jews were forced to take before proceeding into the gas chambers. Management responded with the fact that the mist sprinklers do not look like showers, and the showers used inside some of the gas chambers were not used to deliver gas into them.

  33. Thousands of migrants are in a stand off with police for the third day now outside of a Budapest railroad station. Thousands of people are camping and sleeping outside of the station. They claim that they have been lied to be the authorities. Many of them had bought tickets, and had been denied to use the railroad. They want to go to Germany, but the Hungarian police will not allow them. The police say it is dis obeying EU rules, even thought Germany, Italy, and France have allowed "fair distribution."

  36. A three year old boy who's name is Aylan Kurdi was found in a sleeping position at a beach in Turkey. He's only 1 of 12 people found the same way. There are pictures that are surfacing of a man and this lifeless little boy that have people outraged. Many are tweeting how "is there any humanity?" Aylan was with his family who are Kurds trying to get to Canada to be with there relatives. His mother also died from trying to cross the border from Turkey to Greece. Turkish police say that many families are on the run as well and are missing, and 600 to 1000 Kurds who are stranded in Turkey who are wanting out.

Pope Francis shocked everybody on Tuesday when he the made the decision that priests around the world will be able to forgive the "sin of abortion" this coming December as the church begins a "Year of Mercy". Even though many priests in the United States already have the right to do so, but Vatican officials say that "It's a widening of the church's mercy".

  38. The Dutch Defense Ministry reported yesterday that a Netherlands Royal Air force Sergeant recently left for Syria to join ISIS. There is an open investigation by the Dutch public prosecutor's office. Officials are searching for any possible damage or risk to the Country's military.

  39. There were 12 turkish workman abducted by an unidentified gunmen. The 12 workman were working on an athletic stadium in Baghdad.No one knows the fate of these 12 men. The identity of these men haven't been released yet.

  40. A Parisian appartment building caught on fire on Wednesday morning. The fire killed 8 people, 2 of them being children. The fire Broke out on the ground floor at around 4:30 AM. More than 100 fire fighters battled the blaze for over three hours.

  41. The UN calls on European Union to take 200,000 more refuges. The action is apart of a mass relocation program that would bind UN states. David Cameron confirmed this action and will provide more refugees. Cameron said that British government should act with its head and heart as this has been a test since World War 2.

  42. Public Crisis in Instanbul where a man, his wife, and two sons were promised a motorboat to get across seas from Turkey to Geese. Instead they showed up with a raft that flipped over killing everyone but him in his family. One of his kid's bodies floated all the way to shore and was open to public. Which started a crisis.

  43. Gunmen abducted 12 Turkish construction workers in a neighborhood next to Baghdad, Iraq. No one knows who the gunmen were, or what is going to happen to the workers. All we know is that they were working on an athletic stadium.
