  3. Google released a new version of Chrome that will make your browser faster and save on battery life. They look for data you don't use that's just sitting in your computers history. And eventually, Chrome will garbage it. It will reduce memory usage by 10% and up to 45%.

  4. Android released a new phone called the Moto X. Some of its features are an improved battery life and high speed charge, giving you ten hours of battery life in only fifteen minutes. You can also you any carrier on four different networks. The Moto X costs $399. It is also almost as big as the Galaxy 5 note.

  5. Lisa Pathfinder is a physics experiment testing technology needed to detect gravitational waves. It is planned to go up in November on the European Space Agency's Vega rocket.   6. Scientists were looking for sunken German u-boats. The ships were found a few miles away off the coast of Rhode Island. They started the expedition on Wednesday. The scientists are from The University of Rhode Island Inner Space Center. They wanted to see what the shipwrecks do to the environment.

  7. New Robotic Exoskeleton created to help people who can't walk be able to control their legs by only their thoughts. This noisy and very slow machine will hopefully help those who have suffered diseases and severe spinal cord injuries walk again. Also once more advanced could change the lives of those who are disabled or paralyzed. This robotic machine has only been experimented on those who can walk on their own, hopefully soon it will be tested on someone who needs it.

  8. The Hubble Telescope discovered "The Cosmic Butterfly". It was known as the twin jet nebula. It was created from the largest star dying, and the smallest star becoming a white dwarf. The lights (wings) are gases that were created from the two stars orbiting there center of mass. The wings are spreading and are traveling faster than 621,400 miles per hour. NASA is keeping an eye out on this light show in space.

  9. Google has unveiled a new logo earlier last week. It keeps the old color scheme, but introduces brighter colors, and a new font; the same font Google's parent company, Alphabet, uses.   14. The newest fastest network is being tested 5G. 5G is 40 times faster than 4G. With 5G it is possible to download 3-D movies and videos. It would take 6 seconds to download with 5G, but with 4G it would take about 6 minutes.

A district attorney for Blount County, Alabama released a video last week about a "photo-hiding" app. The video was directed more for parents to realize the app, which is disguised by a calculator called "Calculator%". In the video, she mentioned how dangerous sexting and if parents find this app on their child's phone to demand the passcode and explain the dangers.

  18. Apple is said to soon be unveiling a new iPhone. The new phones will come with a sharper camera, faster processor, and also it will come in a new color, Rose Gold. The biggest feature may be the Force Touch or 3D Touch Screen, which senses how hard you touch the screen for how you control different things. Apple will also probably be coming out with a new iPad and new Apple TV.

  19. Could life really be on one of Jupiters moons? Nasa spent $30 Million on a plan to go to Europa. Because of a possibility of water being there. However the Hubble Space Telescope discovered water vapor in a region of Jupiters moon. This moons surface is covered by ice, but scientists have believed there could be possible bacterial life.

  21. The British government is getting ready to test out new road technology that would allow electric cars to charge as they drive. The goal is to help drivers with electric and hybrid cars avoid frequent stops to recharge their vehicles. Most electric cars get charged via plug-in chargers at home or while parked on the streets. Wireless power charging "pods" are also available, but they too require the car to stop to get more juice.
    The new charging roads proposed by the U.K. government will work kind of like wireless phone chargers, using magnetic induction technology.

  22. China is planning the first ever, landing of a lunar probe on the far side of the moon. The mission's objective is to study geological conditions on the moon's far side. This could lead to the placement of a radio telescope used by astronomers. If they are successful China will become third following the U.S. and Russia to have this mission successful.

  24. The military is trying to use 3D printing to make vessels/ships. They wouldn't coast as much as they do to make know. The ships would be 3D printed with metal instead of plastic unlike original 3D printers. Making the ships with a 3D printer could help us further in the further says chief of engineering for the military. Using 3D printing they could have ships all over the world and easy to make, but they take a long time to make is the only down fall to making them in a 3D printer.

  25. A new laser weapon can completely disintegrate targets in less than a few seconds! This new piece of technology is known as the Compact Laser Weapons System. It recently destroyed a test drone while being studied in California. Both of these weapons refrain from using standard bullets, by replacing them with a focused beam of energy that heats up and damages a target.

  27. Verizon is aiming to launch America's first 5G network. Five years ago, it was the first network to have 4G. Tuesday will mark the first day of testing it. They plan to have it up and running for commercial use just as well as 4G in 2017. other carriers were planning to have it running by 2020. Verizon says it will have 50 times the capacity of the 4G network. Which means it will be able to handle more internet connected devices.

The new i phone will be called i phone 6 s and the size of the new iPhone will be the same, but it will bee slightly thicker. Apple is adding a new color to the phone choices and it will be rose gold.

  29. Netflix made an announcement on Tuesday stating that it will be available in South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Netflix users have almost doubled this year, but, in recent weeks have had some loss. Netflix also said that they hope to be in every country in the region by 2016.

They say that this is the new and improved stylus that most people use on their tablets and even phones. People are commenting on how different Apple is since Steve Jobs passed away. They changed many apps that come with the phones, iPods, iPads. They also increased the sizes of the iPhones a year after his passing.

A group of students and employees recently discovered indian ruins not far from the campus using new technology such as flying drones which were called Phantom Drones and new software programs to store data instead of having to write it all down manually. There is also an app for the drone called Excavator that can transfer data from a tablet or Ipad to a server that stores data.
