  1. Ben Carson's Financial Advisor resigned after being accused of big spending. Dean Parker Carson's Advisor was accused of spending for unnecessary expenses including paying himself $20,000 a month. Parker was directly hired by Carson to be his Financial Advisor. Even though people on the committee confronted Carson about the situation he backed up Parker. Until Parker resigned from his job earlier this week.

  2. Donald Trump is as crazy as ever. He even suggested that when he win, Ted Cruz will be his vice president. Ted Cruz responded by saying that he defended the Constitution his whole life, and didn't plan on taking legal advice from Donald Trump. Trump continues to get slammed by Democrats and Republicans alike, yet he is still popular.

  3. Donald Trump called Ted Cruz a "nasty guy." He also said, "Nobody likes him, nobody in Congress likes him, nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him." Trump said all of these things during an interview for ABC's "This Week." During a debate he he compared Cruz to Robin Hood. Saying that Cruz is the one protecting people's bank accounts but he's really borrowing money and personally guaranteeing it while not disclosing it.

  4. Donald Trump took credit for a prisoner swap between Iran and the United States. Even though he took credit to this, he said that he didn't think that the deal was fair to the United States. He tweeted "Wow, because of the pressure put on by me, ICE TO LAUNCH LARGE SCALE DEPORTATION RAIDS. It's about time!" He blames the Department of Homeland Security putting pressure on him. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/election-2016-donald-trump-claims-credit-for-iran-release-of-americans/

  5. So the real presidential campaigns are starting to kick way and it looks as if Iowa right now is there number one priority. Which is weird for Iowa considering once every four years Iowa is in national news. Even after the elections we are thrown in the corner again. Besides the other three years this year there are candidates running around trying to get your Iowan vote this years presidential running.

  6. Sunday night, the fourth democratic debate was on. Have you ever heard the phrase, "To be seen, but not heard"? That would describe how Martin O'Malley was feeling. He couldn't get a word in about the drug epidemic because Hillary and Bernie were hogging the stage. Off camera, Martin asks NBC moderator, Lester Holt to have at least ten seconds to talk. Martin talked for a whopping fifteen minutes, while Bernie held the floor for over thirty minutes.

  8. A lot of controversy is going on in the U.K. Some British officials believe they should ban Donald Trump from even just visiting. It is however just a debate. The U.K. believes Trumps comments about muslims were uncalled for and he was bashing London.

  9. Donald Trump is using Bill Clinton's past to put down Hillary. He said, "She's got one of the great women abusers of all time sitting in her house, waiting for her to come home for dinner," Bill Clinton was supposedly having an affair and accused of rape with a White House intern while he was president. He denies it, and ignores the fact it happened. Trump also said, "She wants to accuse me of things and the husband is one of the great abusers of the world."

  10. Recent polls conducted by the Washington Post has shown Donald Trump is very unpopular with general election voters. Trump fell -27 among independent voters, -70 among democrats, and has low favorability percentages with his own party. The fact of the matter is most Americans really do not like Trump.

  11. A lawyer in Texas is suing Ted Cruz about his eligibility to run for President. Lately, people have been debating if Ted Cruz is able to run for President because he was born in Canada. Ted Cruz is eligible to run for President because of his American mother, who is a citizen. A lot of this "drama" seems to be coming from Donald Trump, and because of this Newton Boris Schwartz from Houston is filing a lawsuit against Cruz.

  12. Jeb Bush told voters that when they reflect on the proposals from Donald Trump there is going to be a "reality check". Also stating that "Crazy talk isn't going to get us out of the mess we're in." Bush said that fear mongering is not the way to fix the U.S. economy. Instead, the US needs reforming taxes and regulations.

  15. Hillary Clinton isn't intimidated by Donald Trump. The Democratic presidential hopeful made her case against the Republican frontrunner Thursday night on The Tonight Show, laughing at Jimmy Fallon's mere mention of Trump's name. "If I'm so fortunate to be the Democratic nominee, obviously I'll run against whoever they nominate," she says in the clip. "But if it's Donald Trump, it'll be quite the showdown.

  16. Iowa's Republican Gov. Terry Branstad called for Ted Cruz's defeat Tuesday, in a dramatic and highly public repudiation of the Texas senator just two weeks out from the Iowa caucuses. "It would be a big mistake for Iowa to support him," Branstad said. "And I know he's ahead in the polls but the only poll that counts is the one they take on caucus night and I think that could change between now and then." When asked by a reporter whether he wants to see Cruz defeated, Branstad answered: "Yes."

  19. A Houston lawyer, Newton Boris Schwartz, is filing a lawsuit against Ted Cruz because he is questioning his eligibility to run for president since he was born in Canada. Cruz's mother, Eleanor, is a American citizen and after many past court cases he is said to be a American citizen through his mother. Though it is not exactly clear in the Constitution, that just having an American parents makes you a citizen, this seems to be the Case for Ted Cruz.
