  1. Cedric Larry Ford went on a rampage through two Kansas towns and killed 3, while wounding 14 others. Officials believe he was triggered into doing this by an abuse order filled by his ex-girlfriend. Ford was armed with an assault rifle and a semi- automatic pistol. He began randomly shooting through the towns of Newton and Hesston. This lasted for about 26 minutes. Ford was eventually shot in the head and killed by a police officer, after he stole a truck from a man.

  2. 3 men were killed in Indiana in a abandoned home. These men were killed "execution style" by gunshots. The men were ages 17, 20, and 23. Authorities think there was more than one person at the home when the crime was committed. Other than these few details, the police and investigators don't have any suspects or motives and are searching for tips and help.

  3. Tony Burton, known for the trainer in the movie Rocky, has died. He was very sick. He was 78 years old. He showed in many different movies, including "The Incredible Hulk," and "The Fall Guy." The last movie he was produced in 2007. His reason he became an actor was because of prison. He went to prison for robbery and served for 3 1/2 years. While he was in prison he participated in acting groups.

  4. A pastor was shot and killed at a church in Ohio. He was the only target in the shooting. Daniel Schooler was accused of killing his brother, Pastor William Schooler. After church, the pastor went to his office and everyone heard gun shots and ran out of the church. No one else was shot or injured.

  5. A police woman was killed on her first day on the job. Ashley Guindon, who was 28 was shot responding to a call in Virginia on Saturday. She was responding to domestic call, where they found a woman dead in the house.

  6. In Iowa there is a current restriction that bans children under the age of 14 from using handguns. There have been a propel that would allow all children under the age of 14 to handle firearms, under the supervision of an adult. The statewide law turned into a nationwide debate on if this law is right or wrong. It is an on going debate that could go either way.

  7. A two year old from Idaho died after being buried in the snow. At Mack's Inn area, snow had fallen off the roof of the building burying three children in the snow. Fremont County Sheriff's Office said this incident occurred around 5:21 PM. Two of the victims were 7 years old and are in stable conditions, while Halle Merrill died from her injuries.

  9. Three young men were found shot to death "execution-style" in an abandoned home in Indiana on February 28. Their bodies were found in a home in Fort Wayne on Sunday. Muhannad Adam Tairab, Adam Kamel Mekki, and Mohamedtaha Omar were the victims of this homicide.

  10. Protesters were attacked by the KKK Sunday. Five people were hurt and thirteen were arrested. This happen in Pearson Park while protesters were marching around. The KKK members stepped out of there cars and attacked the protesters. The KKK members stabbed five people in the attack.

  11. A 4 year old girl from an Indian reservation in northeast Montana was kidnapped Friday after being taken from the park she was playing at. The girl's name is Maci Lilley, and authorities say they have a suspect in custody, but the girl is still missing. Law enforcement is doing everything they can to find her, and the FBI has taken control of the investigation.

  12. When Navy Seal Edward Byers Jr. told his mom, Peggy, he would be receiving the Medal of Honor at the White House on Monday, she had one question: “Can I come?”

    President Barack Obama laughed and said, “Yes, mom, you’re allowed to come when your son gets the Medal of Honor."

    Byers is the sixth SEAL Medal of Honor recipient.He is the first living one since the Vietnam War. Byers is the 11th living service member to receive the Medal of Honor for fighting in Afghanistan.

    Byers is a veteran of 11 deployments and nine combat tours. He has received five Bronze Stars with valor and two Purple Hearts. Byers was seemingly training for a military career his whole life.

  13. In New York, a train derailment caused a spill of hazardous materials in a local community. Evacuation needed to be taken place in some homes near the spill. 3 cars were carrying these liquids and flipped over, one of the cars were carrying ethanol. Nobody was harmed or injured, however officials were on the scene to contain the spill.

  14. There where two hump back whales spotted in Perl Harbor. Perl Harbor officials where called several times on Sunday. The navy was told to keep there vessels away from the whales. Marin scientist said that it was just a mother and it's calf.

  15. A L.A. skyscraper is billdung a clear glass slide on the out side of the building.
    Is 1000 feet in the air. Tickets will cost $8. and it will be open in June.
    It will go form the 70th floor to the 69th floor.

    The Kurdish YPG, considered the strongest fighting force on the ground and we lost their trust. In the war in Syria they were there best alley on the ground until they teamed up with Russia which the Kurdish hated and Us wouldn't change.

  17. A sports authority filed for bankruptcy Wednesday, closing 140 stores. That is 1/3 of its total. The closing stores will close in the next few months. The company has 14,500 employees. The employees will be greatly effected by this. The bankruptcy has been growing since January, when the company disclosed that it missed a $20 million dollar debt payment.

  18. Cops have caught and arrested the robbers of 50 weapons stolen from a gun store in Houston. The robbers stole 50 weapons in less than two minutes and there was at least ten thieves. The robbery happened in the early a.m on Tuesday. It only took the cops 48 hours to find the weapons, ammo, and suspects.

  19. U.S. soccer icon Brandi Chastain has promised to donate her brain to Boston University for research into Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, or CTE. The degenerative brain disease can result in Alzheimer's-like symptoms such as memory loss, rage and mood swings. Scientists believe CTE occurs when repeated hits to the head lead to a buildup of the abnormal protein called tau in the brain.
