  1. -- Two officers were killed by a Kurdish militants blast in south-eastern Turkey. 14 others were reported injured, including several citizens. The blast was blamed on PKK, which is a workers union. When the government and the union broke there ceasefire in July. There has been many of these same situations, making the Turkish areas very unstable.

  2. A new Danish supermarket sells food that is always past its sell by date. The supermarket opened its doors in Copenhagen on Monday, and it is the first of its kind in Europe. This shop is aimed directly at people with low incomes.   3. Over 20,000 ISIS uniforms were found being shipped. Spain found the clothes which were labeled as "second hand clothes" during an operation in which Spain is trying to find the people who support and supply the terrorist group. Along with finding the uniforms, they found a couple of the supporters and arrested them.

  4. A migrant boat sunk off the coast of Turkey in the Aegean Sea. 25 people died and 15 were rescued. At least 3 children died. The boat was going from Turkey to Greece. Police are not sure what caused the boat to sink. According to the International Organization of Migrants there have been 321 migrants that have drowned in the sea already this year.

  5. In Spain they have seized 20,000 isis al-Nusra uniforms and other supplies. Spain authorities said that this stuff was enough to arm an army. They found the uniforms in shipping containers in large bundles.

    A boat full of migrants sank, and 25 people died. This sort of thing is becoming a more serious issue as prejudice and racism spread through 1st world countries. Ideas such as "All muslims are terrorists" are making it more and more difficult for people to migrate to countries like Europe and the US, and it needs to stop.

  8. A car bomb apparently targeting a prison officer exploded Friday in Belfast, sparking fresh worries of a resurgence of the deadly violence that scarred Northern Ireland for decades. The prison officer, 52, suffered severe but not life-threatening injuries in the east Belfast explosion, according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland. A senior Northern Ireland police officer warned about a severe threat of further attacks after Friday's bombing. Authorities are concerned that splinter groups from what was once the Irish Republican Army will target police, prison officers and soldiers.

  9. There are more than 12,00 people that are stranded in Idomeni, as the borders across Europe begin to shut down in front of those who are most vulnerable and who have been leaving atrocities. In this one small Greek border town, men and women are bewildered and confused but yet stay and wait. While double concertina wire fences are being put up.

  10. The Grande-Synthe camp, which will cater to up to 2,500 migrants, opened on Monday, offering migrants alternative housing to the boggy wasteland near Dunkirk.
    The medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), has so far built around 200 of 375 planned cabins at the Grande-Synthe site to house 2,500 people.

  11. Sweden meets their newest prince on Wed. March, 2nd. His name is Prince Oscar Carl Olof. He joins his 4 year old sister Princess Estelle and his mother and father, Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. He already has a nickname it is The Duke of Skane, which is a southern area in Sweden.

  13. In Germany there is a priest named Olivier Ndjimbi-Tshiende who is Congo born. He quit his job because of racist death threats being sent to him. One reason people assume he gets the death threats are sent to him is because of the migrant problem Germany is faced to deal with.

  14. On Monday in Norway, during a Nato military exercise, a man was killed after colliding with the tank. There was only one man in the car and two people in the tank. The two in the tank where unharmed. Crash happened in Nord Troendelag county.

  15. Jacobus van Nierop, "the dentist of horror" went on trial Tuesday in central France. He is 51 years old, is accused to have ripped out healthy teeth and to have left dozens of patients with broken jaws. He is being charged with mutilation, fraud, forgery and false billing. He faces a possible sentence of 10 years in prison and a $165,000 fine.

  16. George Martin peacefully passed away, in his England home, at age 90 He was the producer of the Beatles. He worked with others over a career that spanned decades, including America, Cheap Trick, Jeff Beck and Celine Dion. "If anyone earned the title of the fifth Beatle it was George," Paul McCartney said in a statement.

  17. A disastrous joyride in a fire engine landed two men in jail. Seven cars were severally damaged and much of the properties. The fire station has been closed for repairs, due to the break ins. These men are pending charges. Stealing a fire engine can put many lives at risk.

  18. A woman flew from Istanbul to Paris with a four year old girl hidden inside her luggage. The child was traveling without a ticket, and was discovered on board Monday night. The woman was a resident of France who was in the process of adopting the child from Haiti. Prosecutors decided not to press charges.

  19. A lot of the paths that migrants have been using to come into Europe. Have been shut or are guarded by police. Since they don't want anymore people to come into Europe. So a lot of migrants are trying to find new ways to get into the country. The police have had to be on high alert while theses migrants keep trying to come into the country.

  22. Its not every day that the people of the United Kingdom see the Aurora Borealis, northern lights, in their backyards. On Sunday evening, citizens of the UK and some in southern regions, witnessed a spectacular showing of the northern lights. In the UK are usually only visible in the northernmost regions of Scotland. Images were shared about social media.

  23. Leaders in Europe are trying to slow down the arrivals of immigrants. Greece has migrants showing up on their shore and leaving them stranded and all Greece can do is build them temporary camps. Central European Countries have closed their borders while some other are trying to let in very little people such as Hungary. Macedonia is attempting to build a second blockade because of people migrated so much.
