On Wednesday night we cooked the turkey for Thanksgiving, and made some other foods for lunch on Thanksgiving. The next day, I woke up early to help my mom set the table and finish making some other foods. My sister, her boyfriend, and his kids came over for Thanksgiving lunch. We had turkey, mashed potato's, squash, corn casserole, cranberries, stuffing, pumpkin bars, oatmeal cookies, and more. After lunch, we played board and card games.
On Wednesday night my moms family and I went to Gunder to eat supper, that was our thanksgiving with my grandma Mary. Thursday my family and I went to my great grandpa Bill's and spent the day with all the aunts and uncles. There was so many little kids there, I had a blast holding and playing with them. Thursday night Summer and I went to my grandma Cathy's thanksgiving for a little bit. Summer and I went Black Friday shopping with our mom but only to Walmart. That was my first time and last time going, it's too crazy. My dad had his surprise birthday party this Saturday. We ate at Rossville for supper with the Drahn's and then surprised my dad and Cory at R Place. They were very surprised and had a great time!
Wednesday we packed our bags and cleaned up the house and barn so pat harm could do our chores while we were gone. Thursday we left for Kansas at 5 in the morning and got down there about 2. Had dinner with the whole family for the first time in 4 years and played lot of corn hole. Friday we went black friday shopping. I help my uncle David cook oyster and had a raw one for the first time. We riding with my old horse trainer for a couple of ours and played with her new puppies. That night we went to go see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with my cousins and the little ones went to see Moana. Saturday we ate leftovers, made Root beer, and watched Ohio State and Kansas State play. Said go bye to every body and left for home. we did more shopping on the way back. So, we didn't get back till midnight. Sunday we working with cattle and got them all clipped up.
I went to a Wisconsin Badger game with my parents. We got to see the Badgers win Paul Bunyan's axe for the fourteenth time in a row. I had Thanksgiving at my house with my family. I went to visit my aunt on Thursday and my grandma on Friday. I also had basketball practice Friday and Sunday.
Wel... Over break I helped my brother and his girlfriend move into their new house. I also went to the shop and helped out there trying to fix my truck, well that didn't work. I worked most of the days of my break. Then Saturday I had my Elledge's family Thanksgiving, then I went to work and later that night Issac, Grant, and I went to prairie and hung out a little bit. Then on Sunday I went to church and was lazy at home. Now on Monday I am gone because I am suppose to be getting my braces off. I hope it goes well.
Well, it was thanksgiving for sure. I left my dads house right after basketball practice Tuesday night, but because some people have no sense of time, It took almost three hours, in total, to reach his house. Upon arrival I got to eat pizza. It was very good pizza. I was there until Friday evening. My relatives came Wednesday evening, and left mid day Friday. I got back home Friday night around 9. We had thanksgiving Saturday, I also had basketball practice that night. Than Sunday was basketball in the morning, than I went to help decorate at garden view with NHS, and finally went with my moms to the prairie school. There I did homework.
Over this weekend my parents, sisters and I made the average Thanksgiving dinner. There was turkey, potatoes, corn, and other average food. We ate, and then I went down to my grandparents with a friend for Black Friday shopping. We got up at four in the morning and went shopping all day.
On Thanksgiving break, I spent a lot of time with family and friends. On Thursday, I went to my grandpa's for lunch and supper. That night, I went with Taylor to her grandparents. The next day, we woke up at four in the morning and went shopping all day. I wasted a lot of money but got most of my Christmas shopping done. On Saturday, I went to a family Christmas in Dyersville. When I came home, we put up a Christmas tree. I also found Frosty in Postville with Blake. The rest of the weekend I wasted my time cleaning because my mom forced me to.
On Thanksgiving break, I went to my aunt Carol's in Garnavillo and spent the whole day with my cousins, Halle and Hunter. On Friday, we decorated for Christmas and had some friends from Postville come over. Then on Saturday, I went to my sister's after work and had a mini Thanksgiving there, with her, her boyfriend, his two siblings, and my step-cousin. Then I went to work again!
On Thanksgiving break I was invited to four Thanksgiving dinner, but I then realized when my dad came home I wasn't going to be able to go to three out of the four because of course I was "grounded" I spent my Thanksgiving break in Farmersburg at my house cleaning, and hiding in my room until it was time to go to my grandmas. Sadly this year I did not go vegetarian like I did for many other years. There was meat in stuff that I didn't even know was possible to put meat in. To end my Thanksgiving week, nothing could be better than waking up to my dad chunking up blood. (that line was sarcastic) So he spent the night in the hospital, again. (He was in the hospital for a week about three weeks ago and missed two weeks of work) So to sum up my Thanksgiving break, I would have rather had school because if I had school I wouldn't of had to hide in my room to keep from cleaning everything.
Over my Thanksgiving break I had two Thanksgivings. I had my family Thanksgiving, and then I went to my boyfriends. I had a great break, and on Sunday I got to go hunting with my boyfriend. He shot his first buck on Sunday, (the last day of the season too), and it was an amazing experience.
Over Thanksgiving break, I had one Thanksgiving celebration at my grandma's house in Eastman. (I'll forever brag about the fact that my grandma is the mayor of Eastman.) Note: My grandma's house is a very small house and we somehow managed to fit nearly 40 people inside of it. As per usual, my grandma made squash and turkey and others brought their own dishes to set out; we brought pumpkin pie. We also drew names for our Secret Santa, like we do every Thanksgiving. The extent of my Black Friday shopping was disappointingly only about an hour in Walmart, but it was well worth it because I got a speaker and three video games, each of which are normally $60 a piece. The rest of my break was spent playing video games in my room or at my brother's new house, but more so in my room. There's only so much time one person can tolerate being with their recent graduate brother and his friends.
On Wednesday, my family from Kansas City started to arrive and took me out for lunch. On Thursday, we went to my grandma's for a thanksgiving meal. Later that night, we went to my aunt's to see the rest of my family from Chicago. On Friday, all of the girls went shopping and the boys played their annual basketball game. On Saturday, everyone went out of breakfast then they all had to go home.
On Wednesday, I cleaned the house with my sister after that I did most of my chores. On Thursday, I went over to my aunt and uncles for thanksgiving dinner. Before we ate we had a foosball tournament in the living room. My team lost because I never play. Then over the weekend I cleaned the house even more and my sister insisted of putting up the Christmas decorations as well as the tree.
Wednesday, my family and I went out to eat at Gunder with my grandma Mary. That was our Thanksgiving with her. Thursday we went my Great Grandpa Bill's house. I got to see all of my aunts, uncles and cousins. Later that night, Hannah, my mom, and I went black Friday shopping at Walmart. I will never go again. On Friday I went to open gym for basketball. I also got to spend the day with my grandma and grandpa. I helped them set up the christmas tree. Saturday and Sunday, I spent more time with family and put up christmas decorations
My break wasn't very exciting. I went to my dad's house in Eastman Wednesday night. Thursday we had a thanksgiving lunch with family at my grandparents. After that we went hunting the rest of the day and then played games all night with my family. Then I worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
During Thanksgiving I spent quality time with my family from out of state. I enjoyed eating the abundance of food that was provided. Then proceeding to go for a walk to the graveyard. The rest of our day was filled with games and laughs. Saturday I had another Thanksgiving and for countless hours we played the game "Pit" and celebrated my brothers birthday.
During Thanksgiving, I spent my day at my aunt Ethel's house. I normally go to my grandma milkiest house for thanksgiving but they went out this year. For the meal, we had turkey, mashed potatoes with cream cheese, bread, salads, and pizza. We played a game of Rummy and it took us 2 hours to finish before we went home. The next few days I had really bad tooth pain so I laid in bed the rest of break and on Monday I got four teeth pulled.
I went to Marquette city hall with my dads family. I had lots of food. After I went to my grandmas and had more food. I saw lots of my family. I went home and slept after my grandmas.
I had three different Thanksgivings this year. On Thanksgiving my parents and I spent the day preparing for dinner. My grandparents also came over. On Saturday the second Thanksgiving I went to was my grandpa's. We took pictures with the whole family because we aren't usually all together. The third Thanksgiving I had was at my great-grandma's. We also did Christmas then too because not everyone could make it home for Christmas.
On Thanksgiving day I went to my Grandparents house on my moms side of the family. My cousins, aunts and uncles all came to their house to celebrate. We spent the rest of the day talking and playing games. Then on Saturday I went to the Pitzer side of the family for Thanksgiving and we had a meal there. all in all it was ok
Over break I didnt do a whole lot. I worked every night over break. On Thursday I went to my Grandma walzs and at food. Then I went and hung out with Eric for a while. Then I went and milked cows. Saturday night I worked then I went to my buddy Grants house. Then I milked Sunday morning when I was done milking I hauled crap all day till I had to milk that night.
I spent quite a bit of time at home with my brother Andrew. On Thanksgiving, we went to my Grandparents for Zeeh family thanksgiving with dad. Later that night, Andrew and I went to my aunt Molly's for my moms thanksgiving. This was the first thanksgiving with our parents separated so it was not super happy but we hope it will get better.
I spent a lot of time with my family and friends. On Wednesday night, my grandma Diehl from Cedar Rapids came to stay the weekend for thanksgiving. My family and I watched a lot of movies like Neighbors 2, Bad Moms, The Mechanic, and Tarzan over the course of break. Thursday, my aunt & uncle, my grandma, and my grandma & grandpa came to my family's house for Thanksgiving diner. On Friday, Cole and I went to Coaches for breakfast then of course put up Christmas decorations. We put up the Christmas tree and decorated the living room then at night we went to the movie Allied. Saturday I had to babysit my cousins, then Sunday I went to Col'es family Christmas.
On went to Wednesday I went to LaCrosse with my sister. Thursday, my family and I went to my aunt's house outside of Monona for family Thanksgiving, we spent a lot of quality family time together. Friday I set up Christmas decorations around our home with my mom, and that night we went to see Hacksaw Ridge in theaters. Saturday I hung out with my family at home and that night I babysat overnight. Sunday we went to church and then went and picked out Christmas trees!
On Thanksgiving day I went to my grandmas and grandpa and we celebrated thanksgiving with them and my two uncles. Friday and Saturday I went down to my dads and helped him in the shop. Sunday I went to my Grandma and Grandpa Wille's and we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas because that was the only time my whole family could be there. Because my aunt lives in Missouri and I have 4 uncles that drive semi over the road and are barley ever home.
On Thanksgiving day my brothers and sisters and their families came to my house. On Sunday we went to my uncles for my Dad's side Thanksgiving. I ate a lot of food and really regretted it Monday morning when I was 11 pounds over, but oh well.
I spent my thanksgiving with both sides of my family. On Thursday I went to my uncles house where we ate lunch and spent most of our day. We came home and set up Christmas decorations. Saturday I went to my grandmothers house ate lunch and enjoyed time with them.
I had Thanksgiving at my house. My close family came over, I also ate way to much food. I did nothing else exciting over the break. I wish I would of had more thanksgiving to go to.
On Wednesday I stayed home with my sister and had basketball practice. On Thursday my family had Thanksgiving at our house. It was nice to spend time with family! Friday I had basketball practice and took Jordan and a friend to the movies. Saturday, I waited all day for basketball practice to come! The Sunday I had early morning practice and went and got our Christmas tree in Elkader. It's a family tradition that we do.
Over my Thanksgiving break, I didn’t do much. On Wednesday I slept most of the day. Thursday I slept until 10am then for supper I went to my Grandpa and Grandma for thanksgiving. On Friday my dad, sister, and I spent the day together because my mom had to work. On Saturday my dad’s side of the family came to our house. On Sunday I spent the day going to church and babysitting.
I went to my Grandma's and Grandpas house on Thanksgiving. I ate a little turkey for lunch. The rest of the day we mostly watched football. Then we played some cards. When we got back home I took a nap.
On Thanksgiving I when to my aunt and uncles house house where my whole family meets up. I ate a lot of ham, potatoes, turkey, and bread. On Friday I watch some college football game including Iowa kicking Nebraska's butt. On Saturday I watched college football all day. And on Sunday I stacked wood all morning and got to go to lacrosse in the afternoon.
This Thanksgiving, my family and I went to Mexico. We left the country on November 17th and came back on November 25th. We spent 4 days on a boat fishing and the outcome was awesome! We caught 4 Marlin, 5 Mahi Mahi, a small Yellow-Fin Tuna, and a fish known as a Skip-Jack. My family of four, Keely (Gatlin's girlfriend), Kira (Keely's sister), Destiny (Kira's friend), Barb (Keely's Mom), my aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandpa, all enjoyed the holidays together.
For Thanksgiving break I had a lot of great food. I ended up working for most of the break. I went to the movie Bad Santa 2 with Ellie. We also ended up getting Culvers which was also very good! I woke up at 6 every morning to milk cows.
For Thanksgiving break I had lots of food. My mom started to cook the turkey around 1 so it would be done before the rest of my family to show up. We had our grandma and my uncle come over for Thanksgiving. We watch movies and had a fun time.
I went to my grand parents house in Cedar Rapids. I ate lots turkey and pie. The day after Thanksgiving I had a lot of pie and I did not give my self enough insulin, later that day my blood sugar was 580.
Over thanksgiving break, I managed to eat tons of food! Wednesday I had open gym and kind of a relaxing day. Thursday my family and I went over to my Grandmas house in Marquette around noon and had a pretty big feast with most of my dads side of the family all day. On Friday I had open gym again and went up to the rec. Finally on Saturday and Sunday I had basketball practice and homework!
On thanksgiving break I got to relax and take it easy, until Thanksgiving day I had to wake up and start making my special coconut pie that I have made for the past four years! It is delicious and usually the first pie gone. It is just me and my parents this year and we had our usual food fight at the end, but we only throw bread since its not too messy and we don't like to clean. After Thanksgiving I relaxed again and then on Sunday I went to the movies to see Moana with Zach which was a very good movie!
On Thanksgiving day I went to my Aunt's house for my mom's side of the family and a lot of food. Friday, I relaxed and watched movies all day with my dad, while my mom was Black Friday shopping. On Saturday I went to my grandparents' house for my dad's side of the family. I ate a lot of food there and played the game Sorry with my grandma. When my brother got home, we went to visit my great-grandpa in the hospital. He went in on Thursday night and they put him in the ICU room on Friday, because he has had trouble breathing and they needed to get the carbon dioxide out of his body, due to a high amount. He was in an upbeat spirit when we got there. Monday, he was released from the hospital and went home. He was on home health, but will now be put on hospice care.
Well I worked all weekend. I milked cows rode four wheelers. Rode cows and went hunting with family. I went to a party with my uncle. It was a great break.

Thursday, my family and I went to my aunt's house outside of Monona for family Thanksgiving, we spent a lot of quality family time together. Friday I set up Christmas decorations around our home with my mom, and that night we went to see Hacksaw Ridge in theaters. Saturday I hung out with my family at home and that night I babysat overnight. Sunday we went to church and then went and picked out Christmas trees!
ReplyDeleteOn Thanksgiving day I went to my grandmas and grandpa and we celebrated thanksgiving with them and my two uncles. Friday and Saturday I went down to my dads and helped him in the shop. Sunday I went to my Grandma and Grandpa Wille's and we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas because that was the only time my whole family could be there. Because my aunt lives in Missouri and I have 4 uncles that drive semi over the road and are barley ever home.
ReplyDeleteOn Thanksgiving day my brothers and sisters and their families came to my house. On Sunday we went to my uncles for my Dad's side Thanksgiving. I ate a lot of food and really regretted it Monday morning when I was 11 pounds over, but oh well.
ReplyDeleteI spent my thanksgiving with both sides of my family. On Thursday I went to my uncles house where we ate lunch and spent most of our day. We came home and set up Christmas decorations. Saturday I went to my grandmothers house ate lunch and enjoyed time with them.
ReplyDeleteI had Thanksgiving at my house. My close family came over, I also ate way to much food. I did nothing else exciting over the break. I wish I would of had more thanksgiving to go to.
ReplyDeleteOn Wednesday I stayed home with my sister and had basketball practice. On Thursday my family had Thanksgiving at our house. It was nice to spend time with family! Friday I had basketball practice and took Jordan and a friend to the movies. Saturday, I waited all day for basketball practice to come! The Sunday I had early morning practice and went and got our Christmas tree in Elkader. It's a family tradition that we do.
ReplyDeleteOver my Thanksgiving break, I didn’t do much. On Wednesday I slept most of the day. Thursday I slept until 10am then for supper I went to my Grandpa and Grandma for thanksgiving. On Friday my dad, sister, and I spent the day together because my mom had to work. On Saturday my dad’s side of the family came to our house. On Sunday I spent the day going to church and babysitting.
ReplyDeleteI went to my Grandma's and Grandpas house on Thanksgiving. I ate a little turkey for lunch. The rest of the day we mostly watched football. Then we played some cards. When we got back home I took a nap.
ReplyDeleteOn Thanksgiving I when to my aunt and uncles house house where my whole family meets up. I ate a lot of ham, potatoes, turkey, and bread. On Friday I watch some college football game including Iowa kicking Nebraska's butt. On Saturday I watched college football all day. And on Sunday I stacked wood all morning and got to go to lacrosse in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThis Thanksgiving, my family and I went to Mexico. We left the country on November 17th and came back on November 25th. We spent 4 days on a boat fishing and the outcome was awesome! We caught 4 Marlin, 5 Mahi Mahi, a small Yellow-Fin Tuna, and a fish known as a Skip-Jack. My family of four, Keely (Gatlin's girlfriend), Kira (Keely's sister), Destiny (Kira's friend), Barb (Keely's Mom), my aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandpa, all enjoyed the holidays together.
ReplyDeleteFor Thanksgiving break I had a lot of great food. I ended up working for most of the break. I went to the movie Bad Santa 2 with Ellie. We also ended up getting Culvers which was also very good! I woke up at 6 every morning to milk cows.
ReplyDeleteFor Thanksgiving break I had lots of food. My mom started to cook the turkey around 1 so it would be done before the rest of my family to show up. We had our grandma and my uncle come over for Thanksgiving. We watch movies and had a fun time.
ReplyDeleteI went to my grand parents house in Cedar Rapids. I ate lots turkey and pie. The day after Thanksgiving I had a lot of pie and I did not give my self enough insulin, later that day my blood sugar was 580.
ReplyDeleteOver thanksgiving break, I managed to eat tons of food! Wednesday I had open gym and kind of a relaxing day. Thursday my family and I went over to my Grandmas house in Marquette around noon and had a pretty big feast with most of my dads side of the family all day. On Friday I had open gym again and went up to the rec. Finally on Saturday and Sunday I had basketball practice and homework!
ReplyDeleteOn thanksgiving break I got to relax and take it easy, until Thanksgiving day I had to wake up and start making my special coconut pie that I have made for the past four years! It is delicious and usually the first pie gone. It is just me and my parents this year and we had our usual food fight at the end, but we only throw bread since its not too messy and we don't like to clean. After Thanksgiving I relaxed again and then on Sunday I went to the movies to see Moana with Zach which was a very good movie!
ReplyDeleteOn Thanksgiving day I went to my Aunt's house for my mom's side of the family and a lot of food. Friday, I relaxed and watched movies all day with my dad, while my mom was Black Friday shopping. On Saturday I went to my grandparents' house for my dad's side of the family. I ate a lot of food there and played the game Sorry with my grandma. When my brother got home, we went to visit my great-grandpa in the hospital. He went in on Thursday night and they put him in the ICU room on Friday, because he has had trouble breathing and they needed to get the carbon dioxide out of his body, due to a high amount. He was in an upbeat spirit when we got there. Monday, he was released from the hospital and went home. He was on home health, but will now be put on hospice care.
ReplyDeleteWell I worked all weekend. I milked cows rode four wheelers. Rode cows and went hunting with family. I went to a party with my uncle. It was a great break.
