The Soviet Union occupied the north and the United States occupied the south. Most historians say that the north invaded the south, but the south claims the opposite happened. The war is still ongoing to this day because no peace treaty was signed. North Korea now blames the U.S. for all of it's economic problems which makes the U.S. a threat.

During his campaign, he vowed to label the country a currency manipulator on his first day in office, although he ultimately did not do so. "After significant delay, I'd expect a real decrease in US-China relations making them worse as we head into fall," Ian Bremmer, the president of Eurasia Group, told Business Insider over email.
