AT&T and Google are teaming up with Project Loon to bring cell service and wifi to Puerto Rico. The project will use giant balloons which will float over the Island providing cell service and wi-fi to the people below. 68% of the Island is still without service, and these balloons are basically floating cell towers, an innovation that could bring service to areas were there was none previously. The balloons are solar powered, and run on battery power when the sun isn't out.

In the Netherlands, the worlds first 3-D printed bridge opened. This bridge is made of 800 different layers of concrete and is now open to bicyclists. It includes a facial recognition technology that captures your face. Berk spent a few weeks at different cancer hospitals speaking with patients. He was inspired by a conversation with a cancer survivor. She told him the first few days after her diagnosis it was hard for her to look in the mirror and accept that she had cancer.
