  1. Thursday, April 5th, France's defense minister promised a "zero tolerance" for discrimination in the armed forces with the widespread sexual harassment involving the military academy near Paris. After a group, of about 60 male students were "willing to do anything" to force the young woman and many more female students that are attending the school out, of the École spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr. Minister Florance Parly said that those involved would be excluded, and that "there is no place for sexism in our armed forces."
The report also said that a number of former female students had been sexually harassed by many male recruits. The males have also routinely ignored, insulted or had humiliated the women, eventually leading to some of them leaving their military training.

On Tuesday, the airline offered a 2% immediate pay increase which would double its initial offer to the unions. It would be irresponsible if the trade unions did not enter into talks, now that the management has held out its hand to them.” The strike has cost Air France €170m (Euro) which would be 209,451,220 US dollars and have come at an unfortunate time, as railway strikes are also going on at the same time.
