The environmental minister of Italy, Sergio Costa, called for the banning of hunting in Italy after the incident. Marriage is used sometime for letting immigrants come to other country. The mayor got arrested because of helping immigrants get married. Lots of immigrants came from Africa because Italy the closes to Africa. They want to stop more people from coming in because they don't have the resource.

  3. Italy has chosen to not change their budget. Most countries change their budget every year, but Italy has chosen not to. Italy expects to see a sharp rise of public spending for higher welfare for the poor and reducing the retirement age. Italy's debt has decreased and is expected to keep decreasing. The EU doesn't appreciate Italy's budget plan.

  5. In Italy, two trucks collided near Bologna airport. One was carrying flammable material which made both trucks blow up in seconds. people are unsure of what caused this but they believe someone slammed on the brakes. It is hard for a semi to stop quickly with liquids in them. Only two people were killed but about a dozen were injured. There is a big whole in the highway now where the bad accident happened. The whole shows how bad the explosion actually was.

  6. Italy makes children that have immigrated eat in a separate room from the others. The Parent have to prove that they had property, source of income, and bank account from were they are from. They parents must provide bus fees and lunch money. Most parents cant provide this and send their kids with pack lunch, But they can't bring outside food into the cafeteria so they eat in a different room. This makes the kids feel segregated and susceptible to bullying.

Unlikely candidate's hidden camera documentary lifts lid on Italian politics

Ismaele La Vardera, who ran for mayor in Palermo, Italy, revealed some unfortunate truths about Italian politics during his campaign.

He didn't win, he only got 2% of the vote, but his relevancy is not because of his run for mayor itself, rather it was because of the stuff he'd recorded on the campaign trail. He recorded pieces of footage along the campaign trail, and the footage was turned into a documentary called Italian Politics for Dummies.

One of the more shocking pieces of information he'd recorded was a meeting of a relative of a mafia boss, who offered votes in the district of Palermo for 26 euros each.

The documentary looks into the inner workings of Italian politics in Palermo, Sicily, and gives information about the mafia's involvement in local politics.

    October 22nd, 2018
After a very long time of dry weather in Rome, they have finally received precipitation. They got much more than they asked for though. Firefighters from across the country were called to help rescue people. Some had to leave vehicles in the streets in order to survive the flood waters and hail. Rome was one of the hardest hit, but in other parts of the country there were very strong winds also doing large amounts of damage. After all of this destruction the forecasts are looking up, and hopefully they will begin the recovery processes shortly.
