What are you thankful for?

  1. I'm thankful for my mom. She has always been there for me through whatever, whether it be my homework, my grades or just life advice. She can always raise my spirts when I'm feeling sad or down. I know that she is one of the main people who will be there for myself when nobody else will. I feel like I don't thank her enough, and I should always thank her for being the best mom she can be, even if she thinks she isn't. She will always be to me and that's what counts.

  2. I am thankful for mistakes. Without mistakes, I wouldn't have learned nearly as many lessons as I have. Failing also teaches people to have patience, which is an area in which I struggle. Mistakes also prove that I am trying and am willing to take risks. Hard work is the greatest lesson I have learned from making mistakes. After attempting something multiple times and failing, I become frustrated, but when I finally succeed, it feels so awesome. Not only do I learn from my mistakes, but I can teach others from my mistakes.

  3. Not only on Thanksgiving do I think about what am I thankful for because I am reminded on a daily basis. I am extremely thankful to have a supportive family. Without them, my goals would seem impossible. I also appreciate the guidance from my teachers, parents, and other family members. They are always there to guide me down the right path and give me positive feedback. I am thankful for food on the table and a roof over my head because I know not everyone is as fortunate to have what most people would call "normal". To be thankful for the opportunities I have been given and everything I have experienced is an understatement. I believe there is something to be thankful and grateful for in every day.

    1. I am thankful for all my family and friends that have supported me through my life so far. I am so grateful for everyone who has pushed me to try harder in sports and school to be the best person that I was meant to be. There is one person that has been there for me since day one and that is my cousin Kelby. Him and I are pretty much brothers we have always been there for each other when we need help

Thanksgiving remains one of my favorite holidays because of all the food I receive. Thanksgiving also offers a designated time for me to remember how fortunate I truly am. I am thankful for all the care I receive from my family, the love and joy from my pets, and assistance from my closest friends. I am thankful that I am able to stay warm when the weather feels cold and cool when the weather feels hot. Lastly, I am extremely thankful to remain physically capable to participate in activities such as horseback riding.

  5. Thanksgiving is a time of giving. It's also a time to be thankful for what you have. I am thankful for civilization because civilization allows for the modern world that exists around me. The second thing I am thankful for is U.S. laws and beliefs, which protect my many personal rights. The third and last thing I am thankful for is my family.

  6. Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks. I give my thanks to the fact that I saw no snow this holiday break. I am grateful that I was able to eat lots of food over the break. Food is one of my favorite things about this holiday. I am grateful to see family over the weekend.

  7. I'm thankful for the fact that I exist. I'm also fortunate to have had the fortune of being born and living in well off places in the world. It allows existence to be a fun thing. I can do things like thinking, and moving my body. I also get to eat, laugh, make friends, and spend time acquiring knowledge. I think it's pretty important to appreciate the small things.

I'm grateful for having the family and friends I have, especially. I think that a lot of what makes up a person is the support of the people they have in their life. I'm also grateful for the negative things I experienced, as in the end, it's made me a better, more resilient person.

  9. I'm thankful for having the life I have. The people in my life support me and stand by me. I'm fortunate for having to try my hardest. When I am trying it is making me into the person I am. I like taking the small and caring about what I have. I know I take things for granted and don't take the little things people do to heart.

  10. I am thankful for holidays. I am thankful for holidays not because of the gifts, but because I get to be with my favorite group of people. I have a very big family on my mom and dad's sides. We are not able to all get together often, but on holidays we do. I get to spend time with the people I love the most. I love just sitting around with my family catching up and playing games. That's why I am thankful for holidays.

  11. I am thankful for my brother Carter. Carter is in sixth grade and has been my best friend since the day he was born. He is always there for me when I need him, and even though he is my little brother, he acts like he is my older brother. He is very protective of me, but also isn't afraid to get on my nerves. Carter and I are always picking on each other and making each other laugh. He can always bring a smile to my face, no matter what mood I'm in. I honestly don't know what I would do without him.

  12. Thanksgiving is a time of remembering the people and things we are thankful for. During Thanksgiving I got to spend a lot of time with my family. My family is always there for me and provide lots for me. I'm thankful for growing up the way I have in the place I'm growing up in and that also revolves back to my family. I'm also very thankful for my friends. I spend almost more time with them than anyone and they are always there for me.

  13. I am thankful for my friends and family. All of the people in my life have made me into the girl I am today. My parents have taught me so many life lessons and they have helped me get to where I am. My parents have also taught me how to do many things and they are so very supportive. I am so thankful for that! I am thankful that at the end of the night I am able to have a roof over my head and food on my plate. That's all because of my parents! As for my friends, I hit the jackpot! I know that because of school and all of the opportunities I have been given, I have made life long friends along the way. I am so thankful for everyone who has come into my life!

  14. During Thanksgiving, I realized how much my family means to me. No matter what I go through, I know my family will always be there for me anytime and anywhere. Obviously, my friends mean a lot to me as well, but knowing that I will always have a family makes me feel very blessed and glad that I was born into such a wonderful family. I am very thankful for the life I have and I know I would never take it for granted.

  17. I am thankful for all the men and women behind enemy lines and the men and women that partake in public service. This is including soldiers, politicians, police officers, nurses, doctors, firefighters, 911 operators, and the people behind the scenes. As without them I might not be able to do things with my family and friends as they protect and save us. From taking crime out of the streets to saving our lives to taking terrorists/ threatening countries out of our world. Without these people I would not able to lead my life and other's life in the direction that we wish.

  18. I am thankful for my family. Without them I wouldn't be here. They support and love me no matter what. I'm especially thankful for my nieces. Both are so different. I love being called Auntie Elena. Being Aunt feels so amazing that I can't describe. Knowing when they need help they might come to you. I have a nephew that I have never meet and would love too. My brother Josh and Ronnie I can vent to about anything. If I need advice I can go to my Dad or my Mom.

  19. I am thankful for my parents. They do so much for me and often times I don't pay attention to how much they do for me. Im also thankful for my friends that surround me. My friends support me when I am down and they always have jokes to say, and when we hang out I often forget about the problems going on in my life. I am also thankful for the men and women that serve out great country. It takes a lot of hard work and the bravery they share with others.

  20. Thanksgiving is a day started by those who where thankful. Thankful for the help they have received after coming from another land. Thankful for the kindness of others. Now how did they got here to America is a special story that all of us know. People got here to America mostly by boat and that is why i am thankful for boats as without them i would not be here as all of my family had come either by boat in the 1900's or was already here before immigrants had even came.

  30. What am I thankful for?

I’m thankful for being born into my family. I have loving parents who care about me and are very protective of me. They are very trusting of me so they let me do what I want as long if they know what I’m doing. My parent’s also let me hang out with friends if I ask and only say no if we aren’t able to because of personal or family plans. They also give me a house to stay in.

  32. I have a lot to be thankful for, and I take it for granted sometimes. This time of year makes me think of all of the people in my life that have helped me through it all. All of the teachers and my friends that have helped mold me into the person I am today. Most of all I am thankful for my mom. Through it all, she has been by my side. Helping me make the right decisions, and steering me in the right direction. She is my favorite person ever and I couldn't have asked for a more caring, hard working, and loving mother.

  36. I am thankful for my family, my friends, & my puppy. I am grateful for my family because I love my family and they love me. I have so many good memories when we were all laughing and having fun. Camping is one way that we get together in the summer. I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and food to eat thanks to my family. I also thankful for my friends. I have so many times where me and another person were crying from laughing to hard. I am happy that I have friends and family to confide in when I need help. Some people don't have that which is why I am so lucky in life. The newest member to my family is my puppy Mazie. She is a silver lab. My brother and I have been asking for a puppy for years, and one day my mom and dad just said yes. Mazie is so cute I lover her so much already. She can sometimes be a hassle, but I will lover her no matter what. These are the things that I am most thankful for.

I am especially thankful for my health and physical ability to do everything I love to do. I've gotten to meet so many new people and have made so many new friends as well as unforgettable memories. I have much more to be thankful for, but I know I can always count on these specifics when asked what I am thankful for.

  40. I am very thankful for a lot of things. To start out I have to say my family. I don't know who I would be today without them. They support me and believe in me day in and day out. They are the light of my life. I am also thankful for having the ability to play sports, hunt, fish, and trap. Without these things my life would be extremely boring. Some people do not have the ability to play and do some things that may have loved, so I am very thankful.
