  1. US military stops releasing Afghanistan war information
The United States has released a statement saying it was of little value. This previously contained information like the number of Afghans killed during battle, but information such as that and the amount of overall attrition in the Afghan army has been banned by the government for some years. The Afghan war is the longest in US history and this lack in news is a downward trend in the last few years. Now in its 18 year a watchdog style program has been keeping tabs on many fighters from the region, but now may loose some critical information.

The U.S army that is currently stationed in Afghanistan has reported that they . will no longer release anymore information about the war that is going on in Afghanistan. The Afghan government already has a deal with the U.S. to not release the numbers of Afghans killed in battle. The U.S. Army saw the amount of information being released to the Washington Post go down over the many years that this war has been going on. They have just decided to stop giving out anymore information. President Donald Trump had put his input in on this situation saying that he already thinks that there is too much informations already being put out and he supports the Army with their decision to no longer give out war information.

  4. First World War Mustard Gas Leaks From Belgian Underwater Grave

Mustard gas from World War I have shown up near the Bulgarian coast. Researchers have looked near the sight of these cans of gas and have discovered an area of weapons from World War I. This place is now considered safe to drive across or in. To remove the trace of the first World War I, many European countries sealed these open shells and cans and dumped them in the ocean. However, they may have sealed them but today mustard gas has been filling the air near a Knokke, a town close to the coast. The governor has called for researchers to contain the area and make it as safe as it used to be. The town is just thankful they have learned this problem and are fixing the mistake before it got worse.

There are elections in Europe coming up soon. Facebook is trying to curb fake accounts, wrong information, and election interference. The place that takes place is called the War room. The war room has been set up in many elections around the world. The last time the war room was for America was in the 2018 elections. It would be nice in no one had to worry about this though.

One highly used port in Yemen is now protected and the war has gone elsewhere. Cholera and starvations are taking many lives in the country. With the port able to stay open goods can be transported into the country much easier. The war has been going on for 4 years now and with the unstable government there shows no signs of stopping. The government is using force to try and keep as many people healthy by keeping major transportations routes open.

US Military Stops Releasing War Information:
The US military has stopped releasing Afghanistan war information that shows progress in America's longest war. President Donald Trump had a complaint that the Us releases too much war information which may or may not have influenced this decision. The US military command in the capital of Afghanistan, is no longer producing district control data. The Trump administration is trying and making a hard push to increase the peace between the US and Afghanistan. As it is very difficult right now because the Taliban is refusing to meet and talk with Kabul representatives, because they believe there helping the US. Overall, the US has spent $737 billion on the war and lost more than 2,400 military lives.

At the beggining of WW2, the Soviet Union wasn't prepared for a german invasion. Due to this, other countries gave the soviet union war supplies to resist the german invasion. By the end of the WW2 the soviet war machine became self sufficient and could produce their own war materials. Allied support helped to defend russia when they hadn't quite industrialized. People say that this kept russia in the war long enough that they could push back.

They both do large amounts of damage and with the the other humanitarian issues that are in play these drones are casuing big problems.

  16. The Trade War Is Widening, Not Ending
President Trump wants to make permanent trade agreements, but he needs congress's approval, which would take a lot of time and President Trump's term is coming to an end. President Trump has used executive power to accomplish some agreements. The issue with executive agreements is that they expire January 21, 2021, unless President Trump is reelected. China is a master manipulator. The Chinese are in no hurry to make a deal with Trump until the economy weakens, which will force the president to be more flexible. The president threatens China with tariffs (taxes) which essentially hurt the American economy. The trade war won't end until there is a permanent solution.

The sergeant major says they asked themselves what was the most prominent time when the Army's service was recognized world wide. The victory in World War II came to mind. The trade representative of the US stated that we would be raising the tariff prices to over $200 billion. We have had many sit down talks with China and have always came up with a way to negotiate, but this time China says Trump has went to far. They plan to have one more talk sometime this week to see what will actually happen between the two biggest economies.

In the tweet that President Trump made, he threatened to raise taxes on basically all of China's exports to the US. This tweet was made days before the he was scheduled to meet for another round of trade talk in Washington. Today in South Africa democracy is the type of government where everyone has equal rights. It's supposed to be that everyone has the same rights but they don't. In South Africa blacks are poorer than whites. They are the most unequal country in the world.

    Written: May 4, 2019

Gaza and Israel have been recently disputing over many different issues but this did not just start now. The two have been fighting in what some call a war, for many years. The worst fighting seen since 2014 occurred last weekend when Gaza fired around two-hundred and fifty rockets at Israel. Israel was not hesitant to take a shot at Gaza with airstrikes. As of right now, the death toll is up to twenty-two people and the numbers are only predicted to increase, especially with so many in fatal condition. Also, the fighting does not seem as though it will slow down with escalating tension and resentment.

A year ago Trump withdrew our country from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. His goal by doing this was to get Tehran to restrain their missile program. Many think this might lead to war because Tehran is under so much pressure because of this deal. Iran supported the killing of hundreds of U.S. troops, so they won't be afraid to get on board with killing even more. There have been reports that Iran wants to attack a personal U.S. military base, which could lead to all sorts of chaos between our two countries in the future.

Leaders from China and the US tried to reach a trade deal but were not able to. Now the US is making tariffs even more extreme, taking the 10% tariffs up to 25% tariffs. The reason for the tariff hike is said to be because China did not meet requirements of the last trade deal.
