North Carolina police officer charged after fatal shooting of an unarmed man. Early saturday morning, a police officer fatly shot a man. He is being charged with voluntary man slaughter and is in custody. Officer Randall Kerrick, age 27 turned himself in. Police said that the man's movements suggest that he has a weapon. The officer's shots missed him, and he was then brought down by a stun gun. They identified the man as Glenn Broadnax. He faces multiple counts including menacing, riot, criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Now the CDC is categorizing the antibiotic resistant bacteria on a threat level. They report that more than 2 million people get antibiotic resistant infections every year. North Charleston, South Carolina, police say a woman was charged with cutting her housemate with kitchen knives because he wouldn't stop playing music by the classic rock band The Eagles. Cops say that the 54 year old woman knifed the, 64-year-old male victim, who was her former boyfriend. The man was listening to The Eagles when the woman told him she didn't want to hear the band anymore. Their disagreement quickly escalated when the victim told the woman to "shut up,". The woman then went to the kitchen, grabbed a bread knife and started to swing it at the man. The victim was cut several times before he and a friend restrained the woman. They then let her go, only to find out she was going to stab them again and she succeed in stabbing the victim a few more times. The police say that everyone involved in the assault was drunk. The woman is being charged with "criminal domestic violence".

The policeman, Whittington, said that James is now very overwhelmed by the generosity of strangers. Some say that the money may be a scam but Whittington said it's definitely not a scam. The goal is to raise 250,000 dollars for James.

ReplyDeletePolice charged a mother with murder after the bodies of her two children were found inside a Southern California hotel. Officers were led to the bodies at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Santa Ana after Marilyn Edge, 42, apparently tried to commit suicide Saturday night by crashing her car at a Home Depot parking lot in a nearby town, they found the woman with a cord around her neck. She was trying to strangle herself with it.

CDC sets threat levels for drug-resistant superbugs. For a while we've been warned about the dangers and consequences of over using antibiotics. Now the CDC is categorizing the antibiotic resistant bacteria on a threat level. They report that more than 2 million people get antibiotic resistant infections every year. And at least 23,000 have died because of this. Every time you take antibiotics you can also harm some of your bodies good bacteria and sometimes the harmful bacteria is left unaffected. This can lead to infections that can't be treated by antibiotics, which can be lethal.

ReplyDeleteNorth Charleston, South Carolina, police say a woman was charged with cutting her housemate with kitchen knives because he wouldn't stop playing music by the classic rock band The Eagles. Cops say that the 54 year old woman knifed the, 64-year-old male victim, who was her former boyfriend. The man was listening to The Eagles when the woman told him she didn't want to hear the band anymore. Their disagreement quickly escalated when the victim told the woman to "shut up,". The woman then went to the kitchen, grabbed a bread knife and started to swing it at the man. The victim was cut several times before he and a friend restrained the woman. They then let her go, only to find out she was going to stab them again and she succeed in stabbing the victim a few more times. The police say that everyone involved in the assault was drunk. The woman is being charged with "criminal domestic violence".

A man in Boston was caught. He was convicted for kidnapping children, raping them, and then eating them. He was sentenced to more than 26 years in prison. The childrens pictures were found on the Internet and everywhere else. The images showed the kids being ready to be cooked and eaten.

A&W restaurant is destroyed in Cedar Rapids this wednesday by the flooding, many people fought to save it but failed to, and the restaurant was built about 50 years ago but people didn't save it in time.

A 14 year old girl was found alive after being abducted. Both of the suspects are in custody and it is still unclear if the attack was planned or just random. Police Chief Gregory Porter told reporters that Ayvani Hope Perez was in "good health" and was being evaluated after being dropped off in Conyers, roughly 20 miles east of Atlanta.

A teen from Iowa City stole an iPod, and posted pictures on Facebook of him with the iPod. The person who owned it saw the pictures, contacted the police, and after identification of the teen, they took him out with pepper spray. :P Suckkaaaa

Michael Jackson death trial nears end after five months. AEG Live lawyers rested their defense case in the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial. "We are in the 9th inning," Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos tells jurors Wednesday afternoon. Dr. Conrad Murray is the physician convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Murray is set to be freed from jail next month. He did not testify in the five month long trial because he indicated he would invoke his constitutional right to refuse to answer questions while his appeal is pending for his criminal conviction.

Hurricane Manuel hit Mexico and has killed at least 80 people. It caused a mudslide that has taken at least 15 people and 58 more are unaccounted for. It buried at least 20 homes. An estimated 40,000 tourists are stuck there until it calms down. One family said it took them by surprise, they had no warning that a hurricane was coming.

Two Cars Found in Lake
ReplyDeleteTwo submerged cars was found at a bottom of Oklahoma lake. The think they have been there for decades and the water is so muddy they cant see anything so they are feeling with there hands. They pulled the two cars out of the murky water and found that there was bones and a skeleton. The cars were 1969 Chevrolet Camero and a 1952 Chevrolet that were 12 feet underwater. The say that the Camero belonged to a teenager who disappeared with two friends in 1970. In the other car the disappearance of a man in the 19602 who was with a friend. They said identifying the bodies could take years but they will try.

fund raises 91G for homeless man
ReplyDeleteA boston homeless man in Boston had a fund set up for him because he returned a back pack that he found with more than forty thousand dollars cash and checks in it. More than ninety one thousand dollars have been donated to the Glen James fund. On Saturday James told a police officer that he found a back pack containing 2400 cash and 40,000 dollars in checks to the South Bay Mall in Boston. The police honored James him on media and once the fund got started, by early thursday morning James had received roughly 91, 855 dollars. The policeman, Whittington, said that James is now very overwhelmed by the generosity of strangers. Some say that the money may be a scam but Whittington said it's definitely not a scam. The goal is to raise 250,000 dollars for James.

Man's death at Turner Field was ruled a suicide. A 30 year old georgia man fell about 85 feet off of a deck at a Phillies vs Braves game on August 12. The game was in a rain delay when this occured. The cause of death was force trauma. No other injury besides the ones from the fall. Ronald Homer was the 2nd death at a Georgia sporting event this last year. In august of last year a Tennesse fan fell 45ft at a football game.

300 teenagers broke into a former NFL player's home in new york. These teens broke into the home to have a party while the owner of the home was in Florida. The teens caused more than $20,000 in damage. Brian Hollaway, a former offensive tackle for the Patriots, was told by his son that he was receiving tweets about a party at their house. He thought it was a joke, but then he soo relized that there was an underage party at the house. By the time he called the police they had already done the damage.

In Morristow,NJ there is a family who has to change their childs name. The state is making the family there childs name because his name is Messiah Martin. The thinks that the church and state should be separate because we should be able to chose our child name. So mession should be able to keep his name. Crews responded to reports of an ammonia issue at the John Deere Product Engineering Center in Cedar Falls as of 11 p.m. Thursday. There were no reports of road closures. Both Cedar Falls Fire & Rescue and Police were unable to confirm details of the issue, but did say there was no danger to nearby residents.

Two people face weapon charges at a traffic stop in Waterloo on wednesday. Police officers found two hand guns in the suspects vehicle near Logan Avenue and Conger Street Wednesday.Police stopped the car around 3:15 pm for a traffic violation. Police identified the driver as 17 year old Nathaniel Taylor Matlock and 19 year old James Edward Horton both from Waterloo. They also found loaded.25 semi-automatic handgun and .22 caliber revolver.
