In Des Moines a man by the Name of Jonnie Wright stood in the cold dressed in a raggedy sweatshirt with a card board sign. Jonnie was begging for money and pretending to be homeless. When people would stop and leave money he would give them something. What Jonnie gave them was an envelope with a 10 or 100 dollar bill and a note. The note states that he was not homeless and was not poor and that the money that they had donated will Be Donated to Bethel Mission. He then added his own money and the money he received for a grand total of 1,000 dollars to give to Bethel.
Shortly after midnight on new years eve a MMA fighter defended huis home from gang member. The MMA fighter was Joe Torrez. He reportedly killed one of the gang members and left one severely injured. My New Years resolution is to widen my vocabulary. So I have gotten a list of 365 words that I will have gone over and learned by the end of this year.
My new years resolution is to get faster and stronger. I'm going to be in the weight room more. After lifting I'm going to run to improve my endurance and speed. I'm going to do sprints to improve my speed. To get stronger I'm going to be in the weight room more. I'm going to push myself to lift more weight.

Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and her family came out of a car crash without serious injuries Monday night. Her mother says that they are just sore from the accident. Their Chevrolet Suburban collided with a pickup at an intersection. Alana's father was driving the SUV when the crash happened.
My new years resolution is to be a better person. I will try to be nicer to other people and help others out. I also want to improve in school and sports.
The owner of a restaurant in Montgomery, Texas is selling his restaurant. All the proceeds will go to one of his employees that has a brain tumor. The surgery will cost an amount of money that the 19 year old employee will not be able to pay for. He is doing this to pay the bills that the family will get. The restaurant is about 6,000 square feet. The employee, Brittany Mathis, does not have insurance, so her boss couldn't stand by and watch this happen.

On wednesday, a resident from Alberta, Canada has died from the H5N1 avian flu. It is the first case of the virus in North America. Canada's Health Minister said that the infected individual had recently traveled to Beijing. A little girl's letter to Santa launched by a red balloon was found miles away by a stranger who wanted to find her and make her Christmas wish come true. Joie, 5, had written a letter tied it to a balloon, and set it free along with the rest of her kindergarten class just south of San Diego. The letter read, "Dear Santa, I would like to have a mermaid doll with a bow for Christmas. Thank you, Love, Joie." Terry Hardin was leaving work when he noticed a red balloon with something tied to it. He said when he read the name of the child at the end of the letter, he paused. His mother, Joie Britt, had passed away in August 2012. "It put a chill up my spin," Hardin said. Hardin met Joie face to face in her classroom at her school. He handed her the gift - a "Little Mermaid" doll complete with a bow.

He died at the main gate of his school and saved his schoolmates that were gathered for their morning assembly. He tackled the bomber and the bomber panicked and detonated the bomb. Leaving both of them dead.
