The man who shot and killed Jordan Davis in Florida after Davis and his friends refused to turn their rap music down has been convicted of attempted murder. The shooting took place 120 miles from where Trayvon Martin was killed by George Zimmerman. Michael Dunn was found guilty on four charges, including three for attempted second-degree murder. Dunn believes that the guys in the car pulled a gun on him, so he shot Davis, then went home, had some rum and pizza, then, after learning Davis had been killed, took a nap. Dunn's lawyer says that Dunn cannot understand why he had to go to court, and it has not set in that he's going to jail for a long time. Two skiers missing after a weekend avalanche in the Colorado mountains were found dead Sunday, authorities said. One of the three survivors was released from a hospital Sunday, while two others were transferred to other medical centers and two more were unharmed, Lake County authorities said. A Naperville man earned his fifth drunk driving arrest sunday morning . Vincent Anderson is also accused for trying to run from the cops for having marijuana. Police pulled him over for driving with no headlights when he showed signs that he was drunk and smoking. He got out of the car and tried to run. He was then arrested.

A restaurant manager died and one of his employees remained hospitalized after breathing carbon monoxide at a Long Island mall. Another 26 people were treated and released from a hospital after the incident.

The american military is making major cuts to it's budget. The budget will be cut by nearly $75 Billion, and it will layoff 80 Thousand soldiers and 10 thousand marines. The amount of active soldiers whould drop as low as it was at the end of World War II.

In New Jersey, record amounts of snowfall have left mayors scrambling for more salt to sprinkle on their roads and sidewalks for safety. They mixed small amounts of salt in with sand to help them last through the winter.

A family from San Diego is suing Petco for the death of their 10-year-old son from a bacterial infection that they say he received from his rat. He died June 12, 2013, after being rushed to the hospital with stomach pains. They say he died from (the easy way to pronounce) rat-bite fever, after exposure to an infected rat. The lawsuit was not filed until now. Attorneys were waiting for the lab results, which tested the rat to confirm it was infected.

A Dubuque man is dead after a one vehicle accident in Jones County on Tuesday, he was 45-years old and his name was Daniel Leslie Power. Troopers say Power drove onto the right shoulder causing the vehicle to go into the ditch and roll several times. Power was thrown from vehicle.
