Women from the the ages of 50- 65 years old are much more likely to die from health related problems. The problem behind the heart conditions is linked to fried chicken and fish. It is directly linked to heart related illness and deaths. Researchers have found out that friend food has not been linked to cancer. A person who eats one of more serving of fried food a day has a 13% chance of dying from any cause than a person who doesn't. The study was done in North America among adults.

Helena, Montana is holding a food drive for those in need. They leave non-perishable food at their steps and the AmeriCorps will go around and collect the food. They create food packs for those children who could possibly go home hungry for the weekend. They have created more than 1,100 packs of food for the school year. They look for more healthier foods but also foods that will help fill a child up for the night. This program does extremely well and they are hoping in future years to come, it will do just as well.

Over a two-week period, a cardiologist named Dr. Topol embarked on an experiment/diet to see how to improve one's quality of life. This experiment consisted of an of an app which tracked every food the doctor ate, every beverage drank and every medication took. Not only did the doctor have to track eating habits, but as well as how much he slept and exercised. He wore a monitor which watched blood-glucose levels and submitted a sample of his stools for an assessment of my gut microbiome. This information was tracked on a phone app which was then sent to artificial intelligence which created a personalized diet. This allowed the doctor to view what foods and vitamins were need in his diet.

Last week, after eating in a restaurant in Karachi, Pakistan, five children suspiciously died. Not only did the food cause their deaths, but it put their aunt and mother into critical conditions. Recently, this has been occurring quite a lot in Pakistan. Food & safety services say it has to do with the lack of hygiene in the restaurants and throughout the country itself. As of right now, the restaurant is closed and under investigation to find the exact cause of their death. Changes are also being made concerning hygiene and ways the food is prepared in the kitchen. When food isn't prepared properly, major problems result, which is what the country of Pakistan is facing right now.

    Posted March 7th, 2019
People are thinking food isn't being cooked all of the way because of the way it is being raised in tis climate-changing world. Scientists say that foods are not being able to be cooked all of the way because of the kind of weather they experienced while being raised in the ground or even in a building. Some of the main issues have been in animal food like dogs, cats, and even livestock. There has been a certain mold popping up in these foods and was never discovered until a meeting was held in 2017 by the European Food Safety Authority. Since this has been happening, people say this is just one more reason to try and end climate change before it gets worse.
